It’s been a long time but I am back to Hercules dabbling again. One thing I did was grab a copy of the source from the svn and type “./configure” as was instructed by the “INSTALL” file. It did not work.
stuart@linux:~/hercules> ./configure
./configure: line 2470: syntax error near unexpected token `hercules,3.07′
./configure: line 2470: `AM_INIT_AUTOMAKE(hercules,3.07) # (the version of our software package)’
stuart@linux:~/hercules>
Any ideas if I need to install any extra packages to get it to compile?

Alex,
That would be MOST appreciated.. If it has ANYTHING about CCWs, sense codes and device statuses, it would be a boon !
Thanks,

Stuart,
I’m suspecting you’re version of autoconf/automake is out of date..
But this is only a guess..
